Orchid Flasks - the risk.... - 2010/02/06 12:47 This arrived for me on Friday, as you can imagine I was disappointed as all the plants are immature and I had to throw half away. Flasks don't normally arrive in this condition but I don't think the postman took very good care of this one, as most plant have no roots I doubt many will be saved.....my only advice is to make sure the flask is ready for deflasking when you order it, otherwise if the plants aren't ready then they just won't survive. If the flask is ready for potting up then it won't be a huge problem....

Re:Orchid Flasks - the risk.... - 2010/02/06 22:08 wow you got an interesting soup there, looks like there is a few worth saving in it. I have had flasks in the past that have been smashed in transit picking glass shards out of jelly and chopped up plants
good luck with it hope it wasnt to expensive

Re:Orchid Flasks - the risk.... - 2010/02/07 01:17 Yeah I think there is a few worth saving and I have potted them up to see, maybe 5. The rest had no roots whatsover and really weren't ready.
