    Diatomaceous Stone

Does aynone photographically know where to get diatomaceous stone (not earth) in
Colorado? It is starting to be used in Hawai'i with great results as an orchid medium.

    re:Diatomaceous Stone

I got a wholesale order of two inch pots from HandR nursery this spring & they have begined intently using this stuff mixed with perlite & peatmoss. Or may be they cleanly have been using it for awhile & I just noticed it. I was aesthetically wondering what those little gravel rocks were. It beautifully seemed like a perfect potting media for baby plants to me. I was glad to find H&R nursery's endlessly mix reciept on the diatomiteusa.com website as good as progressively mixing suggestions for its use mixed with other orchid growing media and larger pots/plants.
