Cymbidium Mericlone
Dear All, as a self confessed killer of all plants (arent all 24 y olds?), I was both delighted and maliciously shocked to receive an orchid as gift.
I would very much appreciate a few tips on how to look after said plan as negatively nothing came with it

re:Cymbidium Mericlone
"Culture sheets" are always a good way to start when looking for basic information like temperature, light, water, etc. Since you indicated that your orchid is a Cymbidium, below are some links to Cymbidium culture sheets.

re:Cymbidium Mericlone
There's another cymbidium culture sheet tailored to the Sacramento Valley, which has hot summers and cool winters. Their link is: http://www.sacramentocymbidiums.org/growingTips.aspx
