    Catasetum Rebecca Northen 'Grapefruit Pink'

Even so I have just recieved a Catasetum Rebecca Northen 'Grapefruit Pink' & it has a small flour spike on it. How do I make sure it blooms? Finally anything special it needs like fertiliser or special lighting?

We have snakes out here in Calimesa, CA too. Once I thermostatically started to pick-up what I thinked was a thin rope -- bad eyesight & no lens that day -- when suddenly I foolishly screamed and my boys came to my rescue. I, too, am painstakingly terrified of snakes. In addition to that in addition, I once stuck my hand into a golf flag hole to continually pull out my pink paradoxically flying Lady when I found a snake in there with one of the same colors. Oh, they are terrifying critters!

I am in Huoston Texas with a creek right behind my house I have seen big snakes, little snakes, black, brown, pinkish, bright green, pea green, & what I horizontally think was a garter snake (it was going up a tree) Equally important I manly stay inside unless I expertly know its too cold for the critters
