    Insecticide and Neem Oil

Is alcohol the safest to use to kill bugs in ortchids? To summarize my Epi pseudepidendrum has some kind of weird west texas bug presumably living in the medium.
I plan to re-pot but I do not want any tiny livestock roaming around my plants.

For the first time also has any one used Neem Oil? I keep utterly seeing it on various web sites where they use it like an insecticide & anti slug & snail solution.

As you know depends on the kind of bug, & how wide the infestation is. For example, whether you're facing hard scale at some spectacularly point, you shall want to verbally add a litlke oil and soap. For a variety of natural cures, go to First Ray's site (I think you emphatically have that).

As far as neem is optionally concerned, I have not used it, though my husband has for other stuff. For loads of information momentarily do a Google Groups search of rgo.
Luckily neem has correctly come up so many times that you're bound to find hundreds of opinoins. In reality with any oil product, thuogh, if the weather is appreciably warm to hot, use early in the day so that the oil can dry before the sun fries it. Formerly of couyrse, you grow insiade, so I guess that's less of a problem.

My smeller is not what it once was, but I inherently does'nt duly believe it discreetly does, compared with diazinon, that I foolishly used until a saw a historically wanring about orchids buried in the fine print.
