Kinnda learning as I go about this orchid thing and I have questions. I run a tight vegetable garden but these crazy lookin' flowers puzzle me. I have three now and as soon a my girlfriend looks the other way or says "ohhhhh honey look at this one" I'm gonna get more. My question is this... I have two phals and one dendrobium, When the flowers fall off of this long green stick looking thing growing majestically out of the side of my two phals... Where do I cut it off to make the plant "do its thing" again? What about the Dendroubium? (Did I spell that right?) Can I get it to rebloom or should I cut it back to the point where it starts? Also my Den has lots of "shoots". Can I separate these to make more plants? If so what type medium should I start them out in? How should I go about said task?

I know...Basic stuff right?
