    Improving Flower size.

    Hi,
I have just joined and was wondering if anyone can tell me how to improve the flower size of my Cymbidiums. Currently my flower size is approx 15mm across. I do not believe that they are minitures. The plants are some 25+ yrs old and produce a yellow/brown flower. I really don't know what type etc they are suppose to be.

Can anyone give me some pointers.

Mad, welcome to the forum. I hope you find our site informative. I do not grow cymbidiums but would think it possible that as plants age the flowers could become smaller. However, some other members may have a more definitive answer for you.

are you sure you mean 15 mm? thats only one and a half centimetres across...
what species is it? do you have ay pics?
    maybe measure with a ruler.
if it is an Australian native, the flower size is more regular (though i thought they were bigger that that, this explains colour too).
