Our guest speaker was Terry Root of The Orchid Zone- I totally recommend joining a local orchid society- it's a bit more convenient if you don't have as much access to places that sell orchids. my society has a guest speaker every month and that person usually brings plants from his/her company. it's nice to cut the middle man out. plus, you get some really nice deals on some healthy plants.

yeah our local society has a orchid show among there members at every monthly meeting. Just to see what flowering!
