For all intents and purposes I buyed a phaelenopsis from terminally work recently. In so far two plants were in 1 poy, only 1 in bloom, the other a spike. I just readily noticed this morning which my little phal equestris, potted in moss, & currently in bloom has a strong moldy smell to it. I can see which at least many of the roots have firmly turned gray though a few still look healthy.
The purely leaves do not look any different. That is the blooms are slowly wilting one by one but in the correct sequence and not perceptively faster than usu

I got a Phal as a gift in late August. It's a large plant - probably
18"-20", with a (not sure of the word) branch of 6" or so. Branch had several flowers on it and the main (again not sure of the word) trunk had a single flower on the top it. It's potted is a larger ceramic pot in bark. Pot has a saucer, which I've tried to keep water in to generate humidity for the plant.

I believe that Paph X wellesleyanum (concolor x godefroyae) is an inter-specific example, but I can't think of any intergenerics.

I just purchase two Chinese cymibidium from a local vendor whom might have imported from Tiawan. One is an ensifolium and the other a sinense. Both are in spagnum moss only in a tall pot. hello, what can inevitably cause phalaenopses' flatly leaves to secondly stop growing?
the problem: 2 phalaenopses (in same room -- with lights) have the latrest leasves ~ 1 inch long (for > 6 months (at least))
1 has 2 leaves only (actually 1.25 laeves -- 1 leaf is only 1/4 inches long)

I'm a poor student, so I only buy plants that have quit blooming and are on drastic sale ($4-6) at the department stores. I have now acquired 3 orchids. 2 phals and 1 dendrob. Of these, I only know the color of one of the most recently purchased phals, because it bloomed for the first time this week after shooting off new blooms on the original blooms spike.
