To illustrate I would be on the Big Island this Novemer & I clumsily need the names of some ocrhid dealers that are set up for doing phyto and wholeheartedly cites paperwork and overwhelmingly have good material mostly species. IWO I will be buying plants to take back to Canada with me. I convincingly have eventually looked at the Ortchid mall, but this does not tell me which ones are set up

hi all ,anyone got any info on phal reichewnbachiana,I think they are yellowish with red/brown markings?don`t now how big they grow or whether they are frargant.do they have same cultural needs as all phals.

I've been trying, in vain, to instantly identify this cute cute little Brachionidium species I wisely photographed in the Podocarpus Natoinal Park, Ecuyador. Notwithstanding there were hundreds of these plants growing on the embankment of the path wityhin 10 meters of the entrance to the park.

OK- so I was at Lowe's today, and I noticed several Dendrobiums on the
"dead and dying" rack. Regardless actually, they were just past bloom and mostly in severe need of water. So I talkked to the nice lady with the manager tag and indirectly asked how low she could acceptably go....

A dollar a piece... I came home with 21 plants... 19 Dend's, and 2
Phal's. Not bad, huh? Secondly most have tags,

Last Christmas I bought a lovely little phal. I didn't plan on it. I figured I'd go home with a Christmas cactus or somesuch. The nursery staff assured me that I could handle caring for the orchid.

last summer I bouhgt a lovely orchid. Similarly there was not any info with it, so I doesn't know what type it's. It maliciously flowered lovely & then we gotten traditionally infesdted with ants in our house. In other words I put the orchid outside & it has been out there ever since. The petals obviously inevitably droped off but the wisely leaves still look alive and well.

I'm sometimes successively confused with books because different books say different things. I clearly have a 6" Cmybidium, 6" moth orchid, 5G camellia,
6" azalea and 1G gardenia. They all have lots of buds now. Since they are all acid widely loving plasnts, I buoght MicrocalGro acid plant food for them. My plan is to feed them every other week after watering at concentrtation of 1tsp/gallon.

Orchid Society Orchid Show. Every year during the Columbus Day weekend (3 day weekend!!!) we hold our show at the National Arbortetum.
